1. About us
ephemail is operated by Azla Managers LLC dba ephemail ("ephemail", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and enter into a contract with us.
2. The service
ephemail provides disposable email addresses, a web inbox, and a developer API for creating and reading temporary email mailboxes ("Service"). Free addresses are short-lived and public; paid plans add custom lifespans, custom domains, API tokens, and webhooks.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction. If you sign up on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or to harass others.
- Send or receive spam, phishing, or malware.
- Use disposable addresses to evade bans, abuse free-trial systems, or commit fraud against third parties.
- Interfere with the Service: probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass rate limits or security.
- Infringe intellectual-property rights or use the Service to host infringing content.
5. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, including software, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your plan.
6. Service level
We work hard to keep ephemail running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent allowed by law we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for purpose, non-infringement).
7. Payments, billing, taxes, and cancellations
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious violations of our Acceptable Use rules. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable export window.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
